Charity Casino Night

Thanks to all who supported our fundraising event. We raised £350 for Alaw, the Ysbyty Gwynedd cancer unit. We hope you enjoyed the big band sound and give a special thanks to the musicians who all gave their time for free.

Thanks to all who arranged and attended the Coleg Menai Art Auction. It was a really interesting night and all the artists are keen to hold another one in the new year. Hope everyone was pleased with their purchases!

Every Weds 8pm The Motorcycle Club meet so if you are interested in bikes or want to join the Sunday rides come on down.
Thurs night is Zumba night 7pm. £4. Places are limited so call into the clubhouse to check with Soo
8th Oct BINGO with loads of prizes & a £25 JACKPOT
15th Oct Private Party - members welcome - clubhouse open as usual
22nd Oct AUCTION in aid of Light Up Llanfair - please try & support this worthy cause if you have items you would like to donate we can accept them after Sat 15th Oct. Come & see what treasure you can find - bargains galore!
29th Oct LAYING UP SUPPER. Hotpot with crusty bread will be served from 7.30pm - 9pm only £2.00 per head - good excuse not to cook that night!
RNLI Christmas cards etc should be on sale during the evening. Please note the RNLI have not yet confirmed this.

REMINDER The Annual Dinner will be held on Sat 3rd Dec at Conwy Golf Club. The list + menus are up in the clubhouse please call down & add your name to the list & make your menu choice
The Christmas Draw will take place on Sat 10th Dec

Llanfairfechan Carnival Day
Thank you to those who came down to support the carnival.The Sailing Club Balcony was obviously the place to be (except when the monsoon hit).

Although the club was full of regal queens and page boys, we only managed to catch two for the camera. Thank you for the great smiles ma'ams! (click on the pictures if you want a larger view)

I am sorry to have to report on Weds 30th March, Tony McDonagh passed away. He was in hospital in Liverpool awaiting an operation after several months of illness. Tony was a long standing member of the club & a hard working committee member he will be sadly missed.
We are even more upset that we could not accommodate his wake at the clubhouse the day arranged for his funeral was the one day that no one was available to work.

We have already started the Christmas Draw for 2011!! Following a successful evening on Friday 10th Dec when we had the pool table + 2 other tables groaning with prizes. Remember all money collected is spent on prizes. Next Year's draw will be on Sat 10th Dec. If you buy one number per week (25p) you will have 50 chances of winning.

The guest beer is brewed by the Purple Moose Brewery from Porthmadoc, we have several of their bottled beers which are well worth sampling.
